At MEO & Associates, Ms. Ochoa provides mental health and substance abuse services from a nonprofit behavioral health service agency, in collaboration with local and international groups in the nonprofit and government sectors. From event planning to conflict resolution, Ms. Ochoa provides the leadership and management skill to work closely with the state governor’s office in caring for women, children, youth, and families. Ms. Ochoa has been in her position for 10 years, with 39 years in the field, and was named a Top Female Executive by Worldwide Branding.

An alumna of Arizona State University, Ms. Ochoa earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, followed by a MBA with emphasis in health care administration from the University of Phoenix in 2000. She was a program administrator with Marc Behavioral Health Services for two years, and chief operating officer of Valle Del Sol for four years. Ms. Ochoa entered the field to make a difference for underserved populations, and attributes her success to her passion, work ethic, education, resilience, innovation and ability to establish strong and authentic relationships.

In addition to her professional roles, Ms. Ochoa has been a board member at large and committee member of the Latina Circle of Influence, as well as a supporter of the Girl Scouts of Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. She was vice chair of the Arizona Women’s Heritage Trail, and received a 2006 Gamma Alpha Omega Latina Excellence Award for Science and Medicine from Arizona State University. Ms. Ochoa is an executive vice president of the Phoenix chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs. In her spare time, she is a guest writer for Latino Perspectives magazine.
