Thomas Taylor Beeler, III, Publishing Company Executive, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in publishing.
A renowned publishing company executive, Mr. Beeler has always been involved with the publishing industry in one way or another. While pursuing formal education, he became involved with the school newspaper in high school, and eventually edited the school newspaper in preparatory school. Mr. Beeler went on to serve as an editor for a literary magazine, as well as a yearbook, before attending Columbia University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 1966 and a Master of Arts in 1967.
Early in his career, Mr. Beeler began working at the American Heritage Publishing Company as a cross-reference editor, which led him to become more involved in the industry. He was recognized for his potential and hired by Garrett Press the following year. From 1969 to 1971, he served as a vice president and editorial director with the company. Mr. Beeler also completed postgraduate coursework toward a PhD at Columbia University.
For more than 10 years, Mr. Beeler maintained the role of president with G.K. Hall & Co. He went on to fill executive positions with a variety of companies, including The Large Print Book Company, where he remains as president and publisher. In addition, Mr. Beeler continues to be recognized as a freelance writer and editor through his own business endeavor, Thomas T. Beeler Associates. He is a former member of the Modern Language Association and Bibliographical Society of America, as well as an active member of the Hampton Falls Historical Society and American Studies Association.
Throughout his career, Mr. Beeler has been credited with working on several large-scale projects. In recognition of his many career accomplishments, Mr. Beeler was selected to receive the Worldwide Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. He has also been featured in a wide range of honors publications, including Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the East.
